This seminar focuses on progress and policy priorities for dementia care in England.
It will include keynote contributions from Professor Alistair Burns, national clinical director for dementia at NHS England; Dr Charles Alessi, chairman of NAPC and senior advisor and lead on dementia at Public Health England; and Andrea Sutcliffe, chief inspector for adult social care at the Care Quality Commission.
Discussion areas include fulfilling the aspirations of the Dementia 2020 report; assessing the funding challenge for dementia; the latest research on medicine development and fostering partnerships; and integrating health and social care services for people with dementia.
